Leah is an associate in the Family Law Practice Group.
After obtaining her undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo, Leah completed the Dual American/Canadian Juris Doctor program at the University of Windsor and Detroit Mercy School of Law. During her first summer in law school, Leah worked with a child protection lawyer in Michigan, learning how to advocate for clients who are minors. During her final year of law school, Leah gained valuable experience working in family law at a legal aid clinic in Detroit. Leah was also an executive of the Windsor Law Christian Legal Fellowship club for two years, and was the elected student member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Child and Youth Law Section during her final year.
After graduating, Leah articled with a national charitable association and gained experience working on public interest intervention files. Leah grew up in the Waterloo Region, and is excited to be part of a firm that is close to home. Outside of the office, Leah is passionate about equestrian sports, previously competing on a varsity team and the Ontario eventing circuit. Leah currently enjoys riding her horse Blaze recreationally, as well as working out, playing volleyball, and going on outdoor adventures with her family and friends.
