A Successful Mission Trip!
Hello my name is Zachary Yundt. I am a 16 year old high school student from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School that works as a legal assistant for SmithValeriote. I had a co-op in my first semester and then was offered a part time position. I decided to take on an adventure while at SmithValeriote. I decided to partake in a mission trip through my school and through an organization named Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (NPH). NPH is an international organization which has 9 orphanages in 9 countries throughout Central and South America. NPH houses more than 3,500 children differing in age from newborns to 19 year olds. I got the chance to attend the Nicaraguan orphanage for 10 days. One thing that was stressed to me continually was the opportunity to bring donations. I brought this idea to SmithValeriote and together the firm supplied me with over one hundred pounds of donations to take down. The greatest experience I have ever had is giving a child a gift and watching their face illuminate with joy. With SmithValeriote’s generous inventory of toys, pencils, clothes, and much more I was able to have this experience on a daily basis. I can say with the upmost confidence that without SmithValeriote I would not have had that experience. As well I would not have been able to make as much of an impact as I did; not only on my life but also the children’s lives. For this I am great full for their kindness, understanding, and willingness to help. SmithValeriote is a company that prides its self on supporting the community and helping out where ever they can. They have given me numerous opportunities in my education, career, and life. I would like to thank all the people from SmithValeriote for their tremendous support with my mission. They truly exemplify their company motto of “excellence in our community”.
