Nate primarily practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, real estate, and succession planning.

Nate advises entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, agricultural operations, investors, and professionals on a broad range of matters, including business acquisitions and sales, corporate reorganizations, shareholder arrangements, commercial transactions, and strategic business planning. He has developed a particular focus in serving farming and agricultural businesses, assisting clients with succession planning, intergenerational transfers, and complex real estate transactions.

In addition to his corporate-commercial practice, Nate regularly advises individuals, families, and business owners on estate and succession planning, helping clients structure the transition of wealth and business interests in a practical manner.

Known for his pragmatic approach and responsiveness, Nate serves as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base throughout Wellington County and beyond. He works closely with business owners and families to provide strategic legal guidance at every stage of growth, transition, and succession.

Nate received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and earned an Honours degree with distinction from the University of Guelph. During law school, he participated in an international exchange program at the University of Otago in New Zealand and completed an internship with the Nigerian Bar Association in Abuja, Nigeria.

Born and raised in Fergus, Nate is proud to serve the community he calls home. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children and can often be found mountain biking, skiing, playing hockey, or behind the bench helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love of the game.
