Jamie’s practice focuses on real estate litigation, and public and administrative law.
Jamie helps property owners in all areas of Ontario resolve disputes related to property access (easement, right-of-way, and road access disputes), property boundaries (adverse possession and misdescription claims), property ownership (vesting order and beneficial ownership claims), and environmental contamination. Jamie also helps clients resolve disputes arising from agreements of purchase and sale, and commercial tenancy agreements. Finally, Jamie helps condominium corporations resolve governance and compliance-related disputes.
In the public and administrative law sphere, Jamie helps public and private entities understand their rights and obligations flowing from a variety of regulatory schemes, including those governing: agricultural supply management, land-use planning, heritage preservation, environmental protection, aggregate development, municipal administration, access to information and privacy protection, provincial public lands (including beds of navigable waters), and railway lands. Jamie also represents clients in tribunal hearings, and judicial review and statutory appeal litigation before the Ontario and federal courts. Finally, Jamie provides Indigenous consultation and accommodation counsel to clients, primarily in the environmental assessment and permit issuing context.

Jamie completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo (2016), and obtained his law degree from the University of Ottawa (2020).
Outside of the office, Jamie is an outdoors enthusiast. In the summer, he enjoys backcountry canoe camping in northern Ontario. In the winter, he enjoys downhill skiing in Québec. Jamie is also an avid (and often crestfallen) Toronto Blue Jays fan.
