Rhyss Oldacre

Biography

Rhyss is an articling student at SV Law who previously worked with the firm as a summer student in 2025. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Windsor Law, where she gained hands-on experience working as a caseworker and Group Leader for three years through her schools Community Legal Aid Clinic. She also served as a caseworker for the Mental Health Justice Clinic, an experiential learning program that supports the Empowerment Council in Toronto. Rhyss was an active contributor in her school’s social committees through her participation in moots, intramural sports teams, and as the president of her school’s In Vino Veritas. Before law school, Rhyss earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Guelph.

When not in the office, Rhyss can be found hiking, enjoying D&D, and honing her pickleball skills out on the courts.
